This project may have gone too far.
Following my little assembly to integrate the GNSS antenna on top of my QMX+, I thought I'd go a step further and create a sort of case for the threaded rods that connect the front and rear. Then I thought it would be desirable to put additional supports along the length of the case.
Finally, I arrived at what's pictured. The case is almost invisible under the layers of PLA :-)

I took the opportunity to redo the rear panel with an extra hole for a switch, because I added an internal power supply. Unfortunately I won't be able to show you any photos of it, because I'm too ashamed of the way I made it!
Next step: make the covers suitable as supports, make them more rigid, and possibly make a little room inside to store a small CW keyer or a microphone (hey, the QMX is SSB capable now!).
But I'm already satisfied with the current state, I can throw my QMX+ in my backpack without taking too much care of it.
